How To Order
We have 5 methods for you to place your order! Telephone, fax, Mail, in store and Internet.
All orders must be paid for in full before they will be shipped or ordered from the supplier. This includes any item that is put on backorder for you because it is out of stock.
Payment is necessary so that we can allocate the incoming stock to your order. If you do not wish for payment to be taken for backorder items, we will be able to leave the item on back order for you, but we cannot guarantee that there will be free stock available to fulfil your order.
Credit & Debit Card Orders
If the cardholders address is different from the delivery address you may be required to provide additional information. A customer service representative will contact you if this is required
Telephone orders can be placed Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm, Saturday 10.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Have your order and credit card details ready. When placing your order by phone, you will be given an order number, which you need to keep for future reference.
If ordering by post or fax you must provide all relevant information (i.e. product code and description, name and address, postcode and contact telephone numbers). This can be completed on a Sports Central order form which is enclosed with our catalogues. Please allow a minimum of 5 working days for clearance of personal cheques on top of normal delivery time.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items made to your specification; perishable goods (e.g. food/supplements) goods purchased in store.
To cancel your order you must write to us at our East Kilbride Office or send an email to email@example.com, either before your order is despatched or within seven working days of delivery of your item(s),quoting your order number.

If you cancel your order in writing after it has been shipped but not yet received or you refuse to accept the delivery, then you are responsible for all return freight charges to Sports Central.
If you refuse to accept delivery of your order because it has arrived damaged you will not be charged for its return.
If you cancel your order in writing within seven working days of delivery of your item(s)it is your responsibility to return the item(s) to Sports Central at your expense. You must ensure that the goods are securely packed & insured against loss or damage & the goods arrive in an as new saleable condition by a carrier that requires a signature as proof of delivery.
All products on our web site & in our catalogues are covered by a manufacturers warranty. If you are using any of the products in an environment other than in a Which it was designed you must check to see if the product you are purchasing has a warranty for the environment you are going to use it in. For example a product with a "home use" warranty will have no warranty whatsoever if used in a Full or Light Commercial environment. If you are unsure as to which classification of usage you require please ask & we will be happy to check if the products are suitable. No manufacturers warranty covers failure of a product if caused by unreasonable or abusive use or if the customer alters the product in any way or if the customer fails to provide reasonable & necessary care. Warranties also vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. If you require clarification of the terms for particular products we will be happy to supply these for you.
All warranties are Return to base and should your item have to come back for a service / repair the customer is liable for all transit costs. We will however strive to diagnose and repair your machine before the need to return it to us.
Non UK Mainland Warranties
If you live outside the UK it is advisable that you check if the product you are wishing to purchase will have any warranty outside the UK.
Labour warranties for UK offshore postcodes may not be available. Please check before ordering. This is applicable to ALL offshore postcodes including Isle of Wight & Isle of Mann etc.
Please note: Due to Health & Safety regulations deliveries above or below ground floor are at the carriers discretion and are not guaranteed on items over 40 kilos. This includes (but not limited to) steps that are immediately outside the premises, which are required to climb in order to gain access to the property.
All orders in our catalogues & on our website are delivered FREE to mainland UK addresses, excluding (but not limited to) the following postcodes: BT, HS, IV, AB, PH, PA, DD, KW and all offshore postcodes. Due to the size of some delivery vehicles, Sports Central or any carriers delivering on behalf of us MUST be informed of ANY restrictions regarding access for the delivering vehicles. This includes but not limited to, steps (including those required to climb to gain access to the property entrance), any overhanging/low trees/shrubs, steep driveways, narrow lanes, tight bends or any other restrictions that may make it difficult for the delivering vehicle to gain access to the point of delivery. Sports Central will not accept any claims for compensation arising from non/failed/refused delivery of any item where the carriers or we were not made aware of any points regarding access restrictions.
Please note that customer's assistance is required with the item as one man delivery, this delivery is Kerbside only. Orders placed over the weekend will not be delivered until Tuesday. If you have selected an installation please note it will NOT be installed next day, installs can take between 10 - 15 working days. Orders for Next Day delivery must be placed by 12pm the previous day. Able2Buy credit orders may not receive items next day due to application process.
If you are having the item delivered to an alternate delivery address this may not guarantee a Next Day Delivery.
Next Day delivery is not available in surcharged delivery areas such as: (but not limited to) AB, BT, HS, IV, PH, PA, DD, KW postcodes & other offshore locations. Please call us on 01698 209 822 for a quotation.
Please note that customer's assistance is required with the item as one man delivery, this delivery is kerbside only. If you have selected an installation please note it will NOT be installed on Saturday, installs can take between 10 - 15 working days. Latest orders for Saturday delivery must be placed by 10am Friday, any orders placed after this time will be delivered the following Saturday.
If you are having the item delivered to an alternate delivery address this may not guarantee a Saturday Delivery.
Able2Buy orders may not receive items on Saturday due to application process

Delivery (One Man)
All orders are processed and shipped in the order that they are received. Normal delivery time is 5 to 7 working days. Please note that unless the carrier/supplier offers a delivery booking in service your order will arrive without prior notification. A card will be left if no one is home & the goods returned to the carrier's local depot to await your contact. Delivery times may increase around holidays and peak shipping seasons. Please telephone to confirm current delivery times.
The freight delivery service you receive may vary among carrier companies. Since most carriers deliver to the curb side immediately adjacent to their vehicle and regard inside delivery as an extra service cost, it may be necessary for you to assist or move merchandise into your home, this is especially relevant if you live in a block of flats as carriers will only deliver to the ground floor entrance to the block. If you have alternative delivery requirements, please contact Sports Central. Be sure to include one or two phone numbers in case the carrier needs to notify you to arrange delivery.
All deliveries are made Monday - Friday between 8am & 6pm. Our carriers are unable to give specific times for delivery. An express 'NEXT DAY' delivery service MAY be available on certain products (subject to availability) please telephone (01698) 209822 for a quote.
Delivery (Two Man)
This service is available on larger or premium priced products (check at time of order). Although the carrier will place the product in the ground floor room of your choice, this is subject to good and safe access. Please note: Due to Health & Safety regulations deliveries above or below ground floor are at the carriers discretion and are not guaranteed. This includes steps that are immediately outside the premises and are required to climb in order to gain access to the property. Please allow at least 10 working days for this service. All deliveries are made Monday - Friday between 8am & 6pm. Our carriers are unable to give specific times for delivery.
If it is found that the product 'will not fit' through/round any doors/stairwells etc and the product is subsequently returned, you are responsible for all outward & return carriage costs. These larger products have pre-arranged deliveries, which means the item will be booked in with you by the carrier or the supplier. If when the carrier arrives with your goods after pre-arrangement and there is no-one present to receive them, they will be returned to the carrier's depot, or to the supplier. In this case you will be liable for ALL charges for re-delivery.
Short Deliveries & Damage To Packaging
When the delivering carrier brings your order please count the pieces you receive & look for any damage to the packaging. It is noted on the carrier's delivery note, the number of boxes you should receive. If the number of boxes you receive does not exactly match the number of pieces on the carrier's delivery note, you MUST note the number of pieces you received on the delivery note by your signature. Damage to packaging MUST be noted on the delivery note next to your signature. You must cross out "delivered in good condition" from the carrier's delivery note. It is very important to check your order.
Neither Sports Central nor the delivering carrier can be held responsible for short deliveries or damages to packaging if you do not note them on your delivery note. This does not affect your statutory rights in the event of the goods being faulty. The customer is asked to examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery & notify us of any fault or damage as soon as reasonably possible.
Collection Of Faulty Products
In the event of an item being received that either develops a fault (proof of purchase will be required) or is found to be faulty upon delivery, we will arrange to have this item collected free of charge or an engineer to call at the discretion of the manufacturer. Items for collection must be packed in secure appropriate packaging and be made available for collection by our carriers within 24hrs of you notifying us they are faulty. If when the carrier arrives to collect the goods, they are found not to be available/ready, a charge, which will be payable by you, will be made for the carrier to recollect.
Once the items are received back at Sports Central, we will inspect the product(s), and if necessary arrange to send out a replacement product. Please note that if the product is found on inspection NOT to be faulty on it's return to us, we may send this item back to you, and all delivery charges will be payable by you. Please note that if proof of purchase cannot be shown, then we reserve the right to charge for any/all repairs.
Please note: To give you the best service possible you will be required to contact the manufacturer/supplier directly for any faults/service issues.
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations
Each EU Member State now has a legal obligation to minimise the disposal of WEEE in landfill sites.
The broad aim of the WEEE regulations is to address the environmental impacts of electrical and electronic equipment when it reaches the end of its life.
We all have a responsibility to contributing to the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of WEEE under these Regulations
Over 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill, where lead and other toxins contained in the electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination which can lead to negative effects on human health and the environment.
Electrical and Electronic Equipment that was made after 13th August 2005 should display the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the packaging or product. The purpose of the symbol is to encourage householders to dispose of their WEEE separately from household waste.
What can you do?
If your old machine is still working, do you know somebody who would like to use it? There are many organisations such as schools, clubs, residential homes etc. who would be very happy to have the use of your old equipment.
In addition there are organisations that will reuse and repair electrical and electronic equipment, and some even run "cash for recycling" schemes. click here to find a list of waste electrical reuse charities and networks.
If your old equipment is no longer useful, please recycle it.
Alternatively, as a distributor we are committed to reducing the amount of WEEE that goes in to land fill. We are doing our bit for the environment by offering free take-back on a like for like basis when you purchase a new machine from us. This means, for example that if you buy a new cross trainer from us, you can return your old cross trainer to us and we will arrange appropriate disposal of the old machine. (Please note it must be a similar product - e.g. an old exercise bike for a new one, an old step machine for a new one, etc.) This must be arranged with us at the time of placing an order with us for the new product, so if you would like to do this please call us on 01355 263568 for details of where to deliver your old machine.

The item must be current product, available in stock (must be an exact match) and not part of a special offer or promotion on an Authorised dealer’s website (not Ebay, Amazon, jamgolf, golfbidder etc).
Please note: unboxed display model or mail order returns will not be accepted for price matches against new products. Secondly, customers will not qualify for interest option credit finance on price matches, unless this was included in the competitor's price.
